Elian Gonzales (or to look at it another way Janet Reno) killed Saddam Hussien... Not not literally but 1 - Elian Gonzales's situation probably got a slightly higher percentage of Cuban's in FL to vote for Bush over Gore. 2 - The election was very close overall, and very close in FL, and FL has a fairly high percentage of Cuban votes, and was decisive in the overall election. 3 - If Gore was elected we probably would not have invaded Iraq. 4 - Its reasonably likely that if we had not invaded that Saddam would still be alive.
