There are some single floppy distributions here
that may be just what you are looking for. I've
just started looking at it. It looks like you
might be able to do the proxy or NAT using a system
that boots from a floppy and runs in ram. Just
the ticket for that stripped 486 or P-75 setting
in the corner.
