The facts don't support your assertion. Per usual, I might add.

Over the past 30 years the economy has been decent overall. But, except for a period during the 90s, it has sucked for the middle class and even more for the poor. As it turns out, the rising tide lifts your boat in direct proportion to the size of your boat.

And the past decade has been even worse.

You partisan screed is typically myopic. My concern over the rich getting richer is that is not a prescription for a growing economy. It is a prescription for a stagnating leading to failure. Our economy is driven by consumer spending, 70% of it. What do you think happens when the 90% who spend most of their income doesn't participate in economic growth?

Two things. One, they cannot keep ahead of inflation. And their spending drops off or they start to borrow. Likely both. Once they are buried in debt, their spending has to drop off. What do you think happens to an economy that is driven by consumer spending when the consumers don't have money to spend?

Take your time. Think it through. But even a self-centered little prick like yourself has got to see that isn't good for the economy.

Remember that unicorns are not the key to the economy.

I very much care about the economy. I make excellent money and I want to continue doing so. But I can't do that if we keep crippling the economy. And I certainly don't want to be here if we keep on this path. Because if you know anything about history, when you cut enough people out of the economy, people just lose their heads...

Cake anyone?
