BLG - this is the best piece of public relations work I have seen from Qualcomm in the 20 months I have been following it on SI. It says everything we need to hear and the media should pick up on its multitudinous aspects. CDMA2000 Chipsets are in the hands of manufacturers (Korea -anyplace else?). WCDMA chipsets will sample next year (is anyone else close? is Nokia really going to rely on its allegation that current licenses cover 3G?). There has been a barrage of very positive news in the last two days - a week before earnings. I think we now have a very carefully orchestrated PR campaign from Q which should, finally, catch the attention of the media and those manufacturers not yet publicly announced as licensees. It's about time! Best, John
