Trump casinos lose $9.7M. in 4th quarter
Published: Thursday, February 8, 2007

ATLANTIC CITY — Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc., operator of Donald Trump's three casinos, reported a net loss of $9.7 million, or 31 cents per share, for the fourth quarter of 2006.

The results were better than the $22.1 million loss, or 73 cents per share, suffered by Trump in the same period of 2005. Still, analysts were expecting a loss of 24 cents per share for this quarter.

Net revenue for the quarter rose to $244.2 million, a 4 percent increase over the $234.7 million in the same period for 2005, the company reported Wednesday.

On a property basis, Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino and Trump Marina Hotel Casino both had increases in gaming revenue for the quarter, but Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort declined in that category.
