Long time lurker here at the WSTL thread. Also spend alot of time lurking around the AMTX thread. I own shares in both companies, and was very pleased when the merger news was announced. I don't know if this was ever posted, I was digging around and came up with the following information that I found interesting. First off, going back to the Westell press release from August 18,1997, Telecom Italia Deploys Westell xDSL equipment westell.com I found this to be a very interesting deal struck between the two companies. Then I came across this information from the AMTX thread adsl.com scroll down and look at the projected number of users Telecom Italia is projecting by year ending 2000. 1.5 million users as part of Torrino 2000. Looks like some serious revenues and hopefully profit dollars to me. Just a thought Eddie
