I don't see 100% growth this year, at least not if the next two quarters are flat. I do see a huge "catch-up" once carriers open the spigots again.

As the JDSU presenter said, the Internet is currently in a very crude form and we have a long ways to go to get the speeds we need for all the possible applications.

No one can touch JDSU in terms of over-all lead in the photonics component/module space. Their biggest competitors rely on them for their own products. Two areas keep them in the lead: brain power built up over two decades and life-time testing of all the products they've developed. If you're number one, you know what your customers want before anyone else knows. That gives you a huge lead. If I were going to break into the industry, I'd do it at the packagine level. :)
