No. P4 only looks good on a few (bandwidth) benchmarks, and SDRAM would kill those too. P4 needs DDR to make the switch to mainstream memory.

It is very dangerous to have their flagship product dependent on a proprietary memory technology. If Intel has any brains they will get away from RDRAM. Based on that, my take is that RDRAM is here to stay.
