"Sound," represents the new market opportunity brought to S3 through its recent introduction of SonicVibes(TM), S3's "$500 sound card on a chip." And "Speed," represents all the basic acceleration that S3 brings to multimedia on the PC platform today and in the future. The company plans to apply its "Sight. Sound. Speed." capabilities to expand the boundaries of the PC platform into new arenas.
