he's an excellent analyst but he doesn't have the gravitas. still a bit too pink cheeked imo.

Easily grown out of. Give Brokaw a year as a substitute and give Todd progressively more Sundays through that year. So how it goes.

Todd is so much better than the obvious other in-house candidates--Chris Mathews and David Gregory.

Another path is to try Andrea Mitchell for a bit with Todd waiting in the wings.
