my degree is in math and physics and regression to the mean is relegated to the mean investor! avoid the big hit, stay margined and bucking the trend produces the dollar. i covered the hit on aol and instead of sulking, jumped on another issue to reduce that loss. at one point i recommended buying this @55. nice advice!!

i started off trying to make $100 per day for one year. (250 days of trading) that worked because it kept the bar low enough to not get greedy. it was raised to $200 and has been there for quite a while! it works for me!

when i get to friday, shutting down when you have met the goal is the key. i held orcl and pixr through the weekend, contrary to my objective and picked up a few extra pennies. my aol short was established as well last week when resistance @101 looked somewhat safe. patience would have saved me a bunch! lesson learned again.

if aol splits, i can go short again and still make a few (assuming the split is 30+ days out)
