I'm not surprised by the reactions although I wish countries would be more patient with the process that we're currently in. I really believe time and hard work can heal all wounds and fix current problems. I further believe that what has been undertaken can work out for the better for many countries around the globe. We'll never be able to replace the innocent lives lost and that is both sad and something we have no choice but to live with. I think long time friends should realize that we've not been a historical global thug when it pertains to starting wars. For this reason I wish they'd give us the benefit of the doubt until this all plays out. If they don't, that too will be a shame but it will be noted for use in future dealings and financial help. Where Russia comes into play is a bit of concern to me. Not only do they have nuclear technology but there economy is so corrupt and in shambles that I believe they'd be willing to do just about anything, including selling materials that could place the entire globe at risk, just to have a short term fix for their problems. I believe Putin himself is losing credibility and power with his own people which is driving him to take desperate measures to maintain power and direction. These desperate measures include moving away from democracy and making immediate gratification deals with long-term ramifications. To desire to fix or solve your solutions immediately is not always bad but when its done at the expense of global safety it's both ill advised and poor decision making. I believe the sale of any nuclear, WMD or rocket technology to Iran is a mistake. People can choose to blame Bush and the actions of the US for a sale like this happening in the first place but in the final analysis the blame lies with the seller/broker who is making a knee-jerk reaction with long-term, negative global ramifications
