I was just looking at the short positions for PFG. These have gone from 0 on Sept 11 to 15,000 on Oct 2, with 9,600 added this last week. I guess this means that the shorts are seeing weakness in the stock, maybe anticipated the affect of the proposed land sell. Anyway, this will add a downward pressure to the stock.

I wanted to post this for the lurkers who may be worried about this stock. The shorts can have a short term negitive effect on the stock which will soon be overcome by news of increased reserves and further drilling. For me, the current downtrend is only a paper lose which will soon be made up. It does present a great buying opprotunity.
