Monk - Recently I saw an article about a Finance Professor spending a months at the Big Board. This guy saw that people are responsible for the changes in price, not the efficient market theory (demand and supply). MM's act based on their "gut feel" when to raise/lower the bid price, etc. You tea leaf reading has a basis - market psychology. Just felt like responding to your posts this July 4 weekend.
