As usual, your response is cogent. I can always count on you to swim in the third lane.

On the other hand, only revolution creates great and overwhelming change. Giant apple carts like the AMA and the Big Pharms are not easily tipped. Any realistic hope for government involvement in at least advocating diet and exercise requires some baby steps. I do understand your points and "open letters" are perhaps safer than ACTUAL government participation. :-)
