Mutual Fund Statements are hitting mail boxes and folks see a decline of about 15% from their last
statement. I believe this is causing FEAR and panic selling in some cases. Investors are allowing the Market to effect their better judgment.

Common sense tells me to invest in a COMPANY, not in a Market. If there are no negatives in the
company then why sell stock at a loss? I fully understand TAKING or PROTECTING a profit and if several did that, then they will likely BUY Back once they feel the selling has ceased. If they do then the tide will shift.
I can understand taking a small loss to move that cash to something that the investor feels is moving up.
However, "IF" there is nothing negative, then to sell just to get out makes no sense at all.

Another present issue is that Market Makers do NOT want to inventory stock in this Market.
People are uneasy over what will happen with the Clinton issue and thus we have the present market status.
Again, Based on my experience, I am of the opinion, that in particular situations, the smart investors
are Buying stocks with potential, not selling...Time will reveal who was wise and who was foolish...Investors must pay a higher price if they want to wait and see.

Regards,
Malcolm
