Sharp. In an election year, politically correct is what counts. It matters not how illogical or stupid the program is if "government TV" carries it with little or no examination and it indulges the idealistic fantasies of the targeted constituency. As long as the electorate is dumb enough to swallow this ludicrous nonsense and keep electing the bozos who sell it to them, nothing will change. If Gore wins, no telling what manner of gigantic government boondoggles will be foisted on the taxpayer. To the left, it doesn't matter if programs work or not. Just get em going. Civil service tenure and the political pork barrel keep programs alive long after they cease to serve any useful purpose - if in fact most of them ever did in the 1st place.<g> So the government continually gets bigger. That's been the political formula since the 1930s and I'm not holding my breath for it to end any time soon. JMVVHO. Isopatch
