don't be surprised, I have yet to have one bad experience with airline personnel - they always treat me with kid gloves when I explain my fear of flying

once, a pilot came back to see how I was doing when he heard he had a 'fearful flyer' - I was reading 'Fear of Flying' - he sat down by me and said let's read it together - you can't imagine the look on his face when he saw it was written by T.W. Cummings rather than Erica Jong
