Ah, you guys aren't serious about not understanding the recent volatility, are you? I suspect it has to do with the recent rocket ship ride that was related to COHR's entry into fiber-optic components business. If you look at the the kind of market-caps associated with these businesses (ie; SDLI, JDSU), we should see more ahead. Speaking from experience, I can tell you that the early years of JDSU were very volatile. Happened to be the best ride in the whole NASDAQ, however...
