Yes but I also read another article claiming that a large percentage pay off their balances every month. We used to be the minority but the article claimed it was more common now so not sure who to believe. I'm inclined to believe your article though since I've learned to never underestimate the stupidity of the American public. Who would have thought people would be flipping houses again right after the housing bust of 08? Buying SUVs and Trucks during a gas crisis.
