Sorry I was not clear. I assume he is managing his own funds in the same biotech stocks he is buying for the partnership funds. Understand my assumption can be wrong but my point was it is easier, (but still painful), to be patient with ones own funds but another level of risk comes from the pressure of clients who may not understand the area and withdraw their funds forcing sales at the "wrong" time.
