What works for me is finding multiple threads where people are talking up the same stock. I like to see the ones that have large followings and the stock being pumped up. When everyone is talking about a rumor then it's time to get in. At day two of the talk then it's time to sell and run a short on the stock. The SI board has done well for me.

I am writing a book on the different stratagies based on the boards and if you want to contribute with your name included let me know.
