Hi wily, sorry but there are no implications or resulting stock plays. A very irresponsible piece of urinalism by Forbes. It's hype, vapor, and hot air with unjustifiable claims. There is no simple "drop in" modem that can do what they claim. The modem can't do a thing about the physical network structure, and that's where the problem lies.

Besides, all the DOCSIS modems now or to-be-deployed are capable of these data rates if you consider just the individual modem specs and not the limitations imposed by the physical network.
