Mike, I had one friend who was the second team airline analyst at a brokerage firm. He felt pretty safe as they had four analysts, two below him and the star above him. But when the firm cut back, they kept the star, no big surprise, and the cheapest other guy, cutting my buddy and the 3rd team analyst. <g> He landed on his feet on the buyside, but at much reduced compensation and confidence level.
