Dave, you may be right as to bandwidth conservation for Terayon. Also it seems from those using and buying the modems that COM 21's are getting more acceptance in the marketplace. Com21's allow voice,analog and cell based data over cable,and seem to be pretty efficient at it. sCDMA is more a novelty right now,and is being tested by CSCO to see if its useable. Also Cable Labs tested sCDMA,and thought it worked fairly well. I personally think the speed and efficency of COM21's modems are the best to date,and allow the greatest flexibility for future needs as they arise. Hiram
