If you don't like all the speculation, or people posting prices or their opinions, then feel free to start your own thread and don't bother to read this one. I am long S3. I have no interest in DIMD. I was just wondering what people thought about the possibility of DIMD being S3's number one customer for their new products in addition to their current status as the number one consumer of their graphics chips. I have an honest curiosity, i want a new sound card and am interested in S3's Sonic Vibes. I investigated S3 before i bought their stock and did not base my decision on guess work. And based on their current relationship and DIMD's decision to branch out into other areas, I thought that it might be likely that they would produce a sound card based on Sonic Vibes. Maybe i am wrong and S3 will directly produce and market a sound card. I guess it wouldn't be in conflict with any of its current customers. I am interested in other's opinion of this subject and not just wildly speculating or starting rumors.
