Tony, you mentioned that Intel warned last year on MARCH 4, 1998. Why are analysts not expecting a preannouncement from the company as indicated in this story (or at least not yet)?. They say it is too early to make such an annoucement. Makes you wonder why this year is different from last year. Piper Jafry's Ashok Kumar still lists the stock as a "strong buy". That other influential analyst, Mark Edelstone from Morgan Stanly (i think) had nothing to say so far. I would think these two would have been the first ones to predict problems not the last------Just got me wondering!!! quote.bloomberg.com
