Jorj, I made money on ACF, so that isn't the reason at all. I played it as an ODOD at $9.50, $10 and $11 and sold near $13-14.
But I would like your expertise in solving this mystery and I am quite serious
It's obvious now that ACF had problems, but tell me how you found out that it was right in front of our faces?
Also, if there was no manipulation going on, tell me why ACF stock did the following while beating earnings for 8 quarters in a row.
Early 2001 ==== $60+ Late 2001 ===== $14 Intraday Spring 2002 === $46 Lately ======== $7
In other words, when were their problems so obvious? Last year? And if it was, why did it rise to $46 anyway, even with those apparently serious problems?
Then why did it go from $17 to $9.25 last month when a couple of us highlighted it for a "long trade and then go to over $17? Were we just lucky?
More importantly was the answer obvious then or did it just become obvious a couple weeks ago?
I'm actually being quite serious. Jorj, you say the problems were right there in front our faces, so why did the stock keep wildly going up, as well as down?
Here's what I think - Manipulation and hidden problems that were only brought out when the "Shorts" wanted to successfully short. Then when they wanted to go "long" everything stayed hidden or was glossed over, so it would go back up. If that's not what you think, please tell me what happened.
I just didn't see the obvious problems, neither did Bruce and a lot of other experienced people, not until the Press Releases. How did YOU find out about them and how seriously it would eventually affect the stock? You must have made a bundle shorting it? |
