yeh .. I've seen 'em doing that ( got ten grandkids) it's amazing. Faster than a professional typist in my day!. But they seem to do it without looking at their fingers ... hard to see them doing that on a surface with no tactile feedback.

I still think that some kind of (maybe even wrap-around?) device with real buttons could be attached to the iPhone when people must text.
