A question for those who are supportive of the present course in Iraq. Now that we are told it will cost an addtional 13 billion dollars, twice the Administration's estimate, and that it may entail twice as many troops in order to provide adequate support for the combat troops....and that the President will ask for a supplemental spending authorization of 100 billion dollars for the Iraq war (his largest ever)......for 2007 (off budget, so please don't talk about improvement in cutting the deficit), what are YOU willing to do to pay for this? Are you willing to pay higher taxes? Higher use fees? Put up with ultimately higher interest rates? See the value of the dollar decline? Are you willing to currently do anything?

Or just issue more debt and hang on...let the next generation worry about it.
