That's spot on about Holmgren.

I've seen the Zags three times this year, twice vs. Saint Mary's (I'm a season ticket holder and also WCC Tournament.

I had a Spidey sense he could have Marfan's. Also based on his featherweight, Holmgren could easily fall in the draft.

Talls that can move their feet and handle the rock are a premium ever since Wilt; think James Wiseman at 2020 #2 pick for the Dubs. Of tiny impact before his injury, Wiseman got exposed on defense and the boards as an 18 year old (now 20 years old) figuring out the NBA offense and defense x's and o's.

I think, while more experienced and a couple inches taller than Wiseman, Holmgren will be bodied out of the circle on both ends of the court, and smaller helper defenders will strip his dribble driving of the ball in the NBA. College coaches tend to coach "kids" on simpler tracks and matchups; less going for steals and more stay home fundamentals You usually don't need a seven footer shooting threes though Holmgren is going to draw perimeter defenders and closeouts, possibly keeping a defender-big from rebounding. In his favor, Holgren does get back in transitions.

I suspect he will drop some in the draft, unless its a team that doesn't expect to win for a few years while Holmgren bulks up, hits the weight room and learns the NBA where toughness goes with finesse and skills.
