I am such a technology idiot that I have to make up for my short comings by imagining the world in many decades.

You know that I think CSCO ends up as the big winner. I think MSFT would be a train wreck if not for Bill. So I hold.

I am beginning to think that perhaps superior technology has to win eventually, after many apparent defeats.

I will NEVER understand how so many of us can see what IBM and T should have been doing and weren't and didn't it. The institutional imperative at it's worst.
