I think we are entering the Crusades, 3rd millennium style. Is it a coincidence that the Christian right is enjoying it's greatest political power in years in the US? Good versus Evil. Unfortunately, that's the slogan (or sentiment) "they" are using, too. Historically, that mentality has always ended very, very badly, for one party or the other: for the Native Americans in the US; for the Jewish people in Europe before and during WW2; for the Christians during their Crusades to free the Holy Land of infidels. God, I hate religion sometimes.
