The problem is that they have 10 million plus subscribers. A $2 increase is not going to get people to switch services now that people have figured out how AOL works, and enjoy using it. Who wants to learn a new service, commands and have to install new software for a nominal price increase?

It is like switching long-distance carriers, unless someone calls you, and does all the work for you, it aint gonna happen. How many people actually sought out a new long-distance phone carrier on their own just to save a few nickels.
