Any truth to that? Banking industry adopts OFX infoworld.com:80/cgi-bin/displayStory.pl?980918.whofx.htm...The Open Financial Exchange (OFX) specification is emerging as a winning standard. Originally proposed by Microsoft, Intuit, and CheckFree, OFX -- a financial data markup language -- is picking up steam with other vendors..... Meanwhile, IBM, Visa, and 18 banks -- which developed an OFX rival known as Integrion Financial Network's Gold -- are planning to soon deliver a framework for merging Gold into OFX... I guess it would be a positive factor. CF is prepared for any standard. Most of the banks have not started or have not done too much on the Gold standard anyway. Adoption of a single standard would remove uncertainty that was holding some banks from going ibanking. Just MHO.
