Re. IMRS, CHRZ, PTUS:
Interesting! Excerpt from CHASE MANHATAN:
When the dust cleared, Sheinheit and Robbins had settled on IBM's ISSC Division, whose main Year 2000 office is in Chicago; a partnership involving Alltel, Little Rock, Ark., and Information Management Resources (IMR), Clearwater, Fla.; and Computer Horizons, Parsippany, N.J. Each vendor was assigned a pilot project to assess the date-field problems in a mission-critical system and develop a plan to correct them. Now those plans are being implemented by the consulting firms in partnership with some of the 800 software developers on Sheinheit's staff. ISSC is using two tools in its work for Chase: Redevelopment Assistant -- a homegrown tool that handles high-level assessment -- and AutoEnhancer/2000 from Peritus Software Services, which is used to conduct impact analysis and to change code. Alltel, a systems integrator in the banking industry, is using a proprietary tool developed by its partner, IMR, which is known for its Transform 2000 methodology. Computer Horizons is using its proprietary tool, Signature 2000.
