Actually you don't know how wrong you are about the US government NOT going after offshore tax evaders. You just don't know how wrong. If I was you and I had an offshore account I would be trying to cover my tracks right now like crazy. Believe me. Hell is coming for offshore tax cheats. More than anyone can imagine. Good luck
