Diana, Buying opportunity = just that the price had drifted down and was getting attractive. Ramsey Su is from Hong Kong - they see the world differently - they use wallets as spectacles. Qualcomm is definitely ecumenical about their technology and Motorola and any company these days, certainly should be. No, I don't think Motorola got cold feet about CDMA - as Chris says, they might just not be up to it yet or might just be at capacity so demanded tougher terms, or have a different valuation system from the Northern Telecom. Motorola along with any significant telecoms company including Ericsson and Nokia, will be paddling like hell under the water, getting positioned for CDMA.
