VSE Supports U.S. Army Modernization of Tactical Communication System Monday March 22, 2:29 pm ET Communications and Engineering Division Receives $12.3 Million Task Order
ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VSE Corporation (Nasdaq: VSEC - News) reports that its Communications and Engineering Division has been awarded a U.S. Army $12.3 million task order to provide radios and ancillary devices to the government of Croatia under the U.S. government's Foreign Military Sales Program. ADVERTISEMENT The task order requires VSE and its subcontractor to support the production, testing, installation, and depot support of the SINCGARS Advanced Tactical Communication System (ATCS). Orders have been placed for $4.4 million under this tactical communications modernization effort. Work will be performed under VSE's multi-year Rapid Response (R2) Support Contract with the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.
VSE's Communications and Engineering Division, located in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, and Alexandria, Virginia, is under the direction of Thomas G.
