Premier Pan-Asian Provider Deploys CoSine Solution in 14 POPs Across Asia

SINGAPORE, June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- CoSine Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: COSN - news), a leading provider of
managed, network-based IP Service Delivery Platforms for Service Providers, today announced that XA Alliance has purchased
CoSine's IP Service Delivery Platform through Alcatel for deployment in their pan-Asia network. XA Alliance, a

value-added security services to customers throughout Asia.

XA Alliance will deploy CoSine's IPSX 9000(TM) IP Service Processing Switch, a component of the IP Service Delivery

and chief executive officer for XA Alliance.

In addition, XA Alliance will implement CoSine's InVision(TM) Service Management System (SMS), which enables Service
Providers to immediately provision and turn up customized IP services for each business customer. XA Alliance will also be
utilizing CoSine's InGage(TM) browser-based Customer Network Management (CNM) system, which gives enterprise
customers visibility and control over their services on XA's network. XA Alliance has also purchased CoSine's Reliance(TM)
Support Program, which provides 24-hour technical support for optimizing network performance and functionality, as well as
ensuring system integrity and network uptime.

``We are delighted that XA Alliance has selected CoSine's solution as its foundation platform. Once again, CoSine has
demonstrated its ability to help Service Providers deploy value-added IP services in a rapid and cost-effective manner,'' said Matt
Young, vice president of Asia Pacific, CoSine Communications. ``With businesses driving the demand for network-based IP
services skywards, Service Providers such as XA Alliance, benefit from a flexible solution that allows rapid deployment of
services in order to maximize revenues.''
