Clark: Thank you so much for sending me the entire copy of above article. (I was able to get in a day later, this site must have been busy or down that day)

It was interesting to note deterioration of Russia. One of my friend just came back from business trip to Russia. He feels Russia's current government won't last much longer.

He is hearing mumbles like, "Now we have freedom but no bread to feed our children. In the old days at least the government feed us 3 meals a day." The situation seems lot worse than I thought.

Some of the government employees are so corrupted, they even offered to sell beautiful government owned buildings (currently worth $10 - $20 million) for $200,000, but they wanted $2 million in cash as a kickback.

He also noticed the cities are not protected by the government or police but by the mafia like gangsters. All small business owners must pay tax to these gangs, not to the government.

There is no way he can invest in Russia with current turmoil.

Looks like timing is getting ripe for another strong dictatorship, most likely from the military.

Can western countries save Russia before it is too late?
Maybe it is already too late...
