There you go again. Another "well, he did it too."
But still refusing to answer the simple question. Is it honest? Was it honest when McCain did it? Was it honest when Bush did it?
Come on. Just come straight out and answer the simple question.
Is it honest to take an employer's money and not do the job you were hired to do but spend almost all of your time looking for another job?
I don't need you to list any more people who have done it. I'm sure there are at least fifty people now sitting in Congress who have sold their votes for campaign contributions, but that doesn't make it right. Or does it in your view?
I'm sure there are at least that many people now in Congress who have cheated on their wives. But that doesn't make it right. Or does it?
What you're saying is that Kerry is just another dishonest politican. Well, come on out and say so. Then I can respect you. If you want to argue that he's less dishonest than others, including Bush, that's something we can discuss.
But unless you consider honesty and integrity to be silly non-issues, deal with the fact that he's doing something he shouldn't be doing. He should either be a Senator, or quit the Senate. He wants to have his cake and eat it too, and maybe that's what people in politics do and get away with, but as has been said, truthfully, is that in Washington it's not what's illegal that's the crime, it's what's legal.
Kerry is just another one of the same old same old. Maybe a little more so, maybe a little less so. That's about it. |
