Dave,

All under NT.

I was on a quest for decent fax software and ended up with WinFax.
I tried HotFax, BitWare, several lesser knowns. I found comm-port handling clumsy on all but WinFax 8 (although BitWare was a Beta of 4.0?). Most features of 8.0 worked as advertised, and I recently shelled out for 9.0 (8.0 was trial-ware). Not a whole lot of difference in the core features except for one feature I was looking for, better archiving of address books/segregation of data. Of course the continued 98/glosification of the UI.

I can recommend it.

As for the resource requirements, well I have long considered Symantec to be second only to Big M in gobbling up mem. Luckily for me an underpowered box is a 350/128 :)
