P/E Ratio Discrepancy WSJ shows a PE of 7 for Ampex, although the DBC quoteserver says it is about 30. This is a big difference. Why? Which one is right? For most stocks they are pretty close to each other. Is it because one is using forward looking estimates? Onward and upward, Ted
