Agreed that AOl and other suddenly hot nets will experience a sharp turnaround, continuing from Friday pm. But how high can an AOL go? 130? 140? 150? Gets riskier as you get higher. Fine if you already hold but if you want to buy in, what premium will you have to pay tomorrow morning? 10 more points? 125 or so? Not bad maybe and certainly worth holding, but if this rally continues the real value may lie elsewhere.

I do like AOL, PFE, etc. but I will also be looking for two types of smaller caps, net dogs which have lost 50% recently, and strong earners like BEBE or WIND which have (for whatever reason) lost 30-40% from recent highs. I'll look across the spectrum and try to stay out of the stampede's path. Get in before the others and hold a few days. Really depends how strong the opening is tomorrow. We'll see what bargains present themselves. No sense getting in at the peak of a buying frenzy unless you just want to shave a few points.

All I know is a lot of money's going to be coming off the sidelines and a lot of shorts are going to be covering.

After last month's correction, I hope we who have been patient and held all make money, and that momentum traders are rewarded too.

What goes around comes around and we're overdue for a big upside.

As for the world economy at large, the war ending will help. And inflation fears be damned. I always figured they were overblown. Just filled up my tank for 20 cents a gallon less than last month.
That alone speaks volumes.

Summer rally anyone? Yeah BABY!
