Brumar, while America is trying to legalize pot, Amsterdam is trying to undo the damage from legalization:

Amsterdam may ban pot shops in Red Light district

The article also points out that since 2006, Amsterdam has closed down 40% of its brothels. The problem is that despite legalization, these vices still attract crime, and it's getting out of control.

One of the favorite arguments of the legalization crowd is that prohibition just drives these vices underground. The truth is that legalization doesn't make them come back into the sunlight. It just opens up the overall market to a wider audience.
