I am fully aware of this. It is not necessary to continually draw my attention to these people or their connection to the Likud government of Israel or the tacit coup d'etat which they have, in fact, carried out in the US.
However, it is a fact that the material basis of American power is derived from oil. In fact, oil has been the cornerstone of industrial power throughout the world since the rise of Rockefeller. Furthermore, the UK and later the US have been actively engaged in the Middle East since WW1 making wars, promoting revolutions, installing puppet regimes simply to gain control of and access to the oil.
To deny this is to deny the air we breath. To suggest that, now, while the US is manifestly involved in a war of imperialism in the country with the second largest oil reserves in the world, that it is not about, or partially about, oil is, in my opinion, bordering on the ludicrous.
You have made the point that Israel is actively engaged in the Mid East, promoting unrest and, may I add, with the intention of destabilizing every Muslim country with the ultimate intention of destroying Islam. If that is what you say then I agree 100%.
For some reason, however, you persistently refuse to accept that the traditional US foreign policy is likewise busy in the Mid East, not merely to enable Sharon's West Bank land grabbing to succeed, but to promote the US' own interests in the region.
Israel and the US are truly partners in crime. And you can throw in the UK for good measure. But each has its own self-interest. |
