I've got over 180,000 miles on my car, almost all of it within California. I fill up on average about once a week, once again almost always in California. I have seen gas prices fluctuate over the past 11 years from $2/gallon all the way up to above $4.50/gallon (including today, thank you Obama), but never above $5/gallon. Never.

First of all, CA is a big state.........I hardly think you've been covering the entire state every day for the past 10 years.

Secondly, it was on the news......not once, not twice but several times that gas was over $4 and $5 in CA in 2008.

But apparently, like many Rs in this country.......a chart by gas buddy and an article on the subject is enough verification for you.

Mazel tov! You're becoming just as bad as the rest of the wingers on this thread.

Please do not post back...............I find this whole discussion depressing.
