Remember when the G7 would seat down make a back room deal and would come out with an abracadabra and the economy would kick start into action?

(It was in a time when they didn't not have to barricade themselves against the bunch of losers that come there to disturb them)

I noticed that this happened the last time in 1985 when the concerted action of central bankers dropped the dollar.

Remember when central bankers intervened in exchange rates would go the way they wanted? This time is also gone.

What if economists don't matter anymore?
