GENERAL MINING QUESTION

There was a lot of talk about mines shutting down with the POG under $300. After the initial drop below $300 I heard about quite a bit of consolidation of properties and mines being shut down but ever since that time I didn't hear anything else about it. Has anyone heard anything lately in regards to whether the gold mines are continueing to be shut down? If so then how much production has been cut off the world gold supply?
